STEVE CARROLL- A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Steve Carroll<\/b> was an original member of The Meat and Potatoes Company in New York, where he appeared in a wide variety of productions ranging from the plays of William Shakespeare and Jean Cocteau to William Inge and Jean Genet. Since 1977, he has worked extensively in theatre, commercials, films and television. You may have spotted him as Dr. Matt Rawlins on ABC\u2019s One Life To Live.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Carroll recently played a featured role in a new film called \u201cBeautiful Noise,\u201d which received an unprecedented six sold out screenings at the Sarasota Film Festival. The film is now touring the festival circuit as its producers seek national distribution.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1998, Mr. Carroll was called to China to portray U.S. State Department head John Carter Vincent in a 30-part series for Chinese television called \u201cA War of China\u2019s Fate.\u201d The series examined the birth of The People\u2019s Republic, which aired in 1999 and became a national sensation in China. It was there, during a break in shooting, the genesis for \u201cCharles Lindbergh: The Lone Eagle\u201d came at the suggestion of fellow actor Bob Brown, who performed his own one-man show on the life of Benedict Arnold.<\/span><\/p>\n

In June of 2001 Mr. Carroll first produced and performed \u201cCharles Lindbergh: The Lone Eagle\u201d at New Jersey Repertory Company. It earned the endorsement of Reeve Lindbergh, president of The Charles A. and Anne Morrow Lindbergh Foundation, who saw a command performance of the play the following year in Garden City, N.Y. at the 75th anniversary celebration of her father\u2019s famous flight to Paris. Since then, he has toured the show to professional theaters, colleges, high schools, historical societies, senior centers, museums, libraries, country clubs, and aviation groups all around the country.<\/span><\/p>\n
